Welcome to PICSOL, the Project in the Collaborative Study of Literature. PICSOL is intended to encourage, and provide a permanent home for, literary scholarship by college students working collaboratively with each other and with their professors.
PICSOL builds on a nearly twenty-year tradition of such scholarship in the Department of English and Philosophy at Auburn University at Montgomery. During this period, hundreds of students at AUM have contributed serious literary scholarship to a number of scholarly books and journals. Their work has now often been reprinted on other websites (such as this one) as well as in various standard databases, such as the Literary Reference Center, the Literary Resource Center, ebrary.com, and others.
We hope that PICSOL will provide a platform for future collaborative work in literature and that it may become a clearinghouse for such work.
PICSOL is overseen by its director, AUM English professor Robert C. Evans (revans at aum.edu).
PLEASE NOTE THAT PICSOL IS NOT OFFICIALLY AFFILIATED WITH AUBURN UNIVERSITY AT MONTGOMERY, NOR IS THIS WEB PAGE AN OFFICIAL WEB PAGE OF AUM.
